Bold color and pattern is going to be huge in the design industry this season, and I think its going to stay for a while! Check out these lookers from Swedish Pewter in Stockholm Swedin.  Founded in 1924 by Estrid Ericson, who ten years later tied these Josef Frank pieces to the company.  Bold, chic and timeless...

Subdued Elegance

Now that Margaret Russel is the editor-in-chief of Architectural Digest, looks like I'll be subscribing once again!  This Napa Valley home from the latest A.D. issue looks like a nice place to be right about now.  I love the cream and white tones with the contrast of dark finishes and very little colour...so soothing.   

The Perfect Riad

As it's pouring ice outside here in NYC, I'm thinking about warmer climates once again.  I continue my search for places to stay during my Morocco trip in Spring, and I came across this stunner in Marrakesh.  The over-sized planters in the outdoor space makes a dramatic statement.  The patina window shutters and wood work though out creates a nice contrast to the concrete floors and walls.  This perfect Riad will suit me just fine!

Colour & Pattern

I normally don't go for anything with this much colour, but it's going to be hot this year.  This work by the colour queen, Tricia Guild really makes me want to experiment with brights and patterns more!
